TALK, TALK, TALK. Man on the phone, communication, support, trying to conceiveYou don’t have to be the silent strong type. If you don’t want to speak with your spouse, find a trusted friend or counselor to speak with. You’ve got to get it out, because repression creates more depression – and more stress. Dr. Rheat Keylor of the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis stated, “Male infertility is an assault on a man’s sense of self. It revives feelings of competition, castration and experiences of developmental trauma.” These are complex and profound feelings that need to be released, so find your “person” or “people” to share with.
